The Highedge Stud was named after the high class and charismatic
chaser ‘Highedge Grey’.

Our first Shetland was purchased for his baby bother ‘Sally’s Gem’.
When Gem came out of training he needed a friend. Bubble – ‘Trondra Tamerind’
proved to be his perfect companion and he also did the same job later for
thoroughbreds. He travelled to the races; he was driven, ridden, teaching many
children to ride. He showed his loving and cheeky character, providing hours of fun.
Then Bubble wanted a friend. We found him a beautiful girlfriend: Southfieldgate
Carly, or ‘Bonnie’ as she is known at home. As Bubble had now been gelded we
thought it would be nice for Bonnie have a husband so we acquired Archie – or Mardlebrook Brandysnap.
